In a surprsing development, otherwise staid auto manufacturer Toyota seems to have really dropped the ball and accidentally approved a 207 hp Yaris two-door hatchback.
Toyota hasn’t revealed any other technical specs about the car, partly motivated by their fear of high performance numbers as well as the propensity to fall asleep at the mention of the name Toyota.
Ford has made waves in the hot-hatch market with the introduction of the 350 hp Focus RT, joining the likes of the venerable VW GTI and socially-maladjusted Subaru STI. Will Toyota do the unlikely and join these ranks? I don’t know, but I need a nap.
