Something Something Toyota Sienna Something

Toyota is set to introduce the 2018 version of their Sienna minivan at the New York Auto Show next month. Anticipation builds.

Revised styling brings the recently refreshed people-hauler more in line with stablemates like the Camry and Corolla, with a super-exciting front grill, larger fog-lights and side-rockers (yes!)

While last year’s refreshed introduced a 3.5L V6 capable of 296HP and 263LBS-Ft and an eight-speed gearbox, this year inspires with such colors as Toasted Walnut Pearl, Alumina Jade Metallic, Persian Night Pearl and Transposed Dusk Obsession (only one of those is fake.)

The arrival of the updated minivan will be of great relief to people with large families and/or busy lifestyles, as station wagons don’t exist, thus necessitating such a vehicle. It’s tall, heavy body, stunted driving dynamics and complete lack of style do go unnoticed when brands such as BMW, Mercedes Benz and Volvo don’t have any car based options, especially not ones that could be considered ‘sport wagons.’ Damn shame, it is.
